Profhilo is the first BDDE-free injectable Hyaluronic Acid for hydrating skin and treating skin laxity. With one of the highest concentrations of HA in the market (64mg/2cc), the stabilised HA lasts in the skin for about 28 days.
Profhilo works through two types of hyaluronic acid:
- L-HA: Released slowly to hydrate skin (Hydro effect)
- H-HA: Provides stable HA architecture for volumetric replacement (Lift effect)
This hybrid complex stimulates 4 different types of collagen and elastin, increasing expression levels of type I, III, IV and VII collagen.
Profilo treatment is considered a bioremodelling therapy. This unique stabilized hybrid cooperative HA complex has different biological properties when compared to monotherapy with either High or Low molecular weight HAs. The resistance to enzymatic degradation, slow release action and biocompatibility properties makes it different from the standard HAs in today's market.
